Together with the STUDIERENDENWERK, Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences has launched a new format for students with care responsibilities!
Caring has many faces
Family forms have become diverse and the relationships in which students look after other people on a daily basis are just as multifaceted. With this in mind, the Care Café is aimed at student parents and students who support people in their personal environment, be it due to illness, impairment or other need of care.
We offer you a platform to share your experiences, but would also like to find out which topics are of interest to you and should be discussed at upcoming meetings.
There will be a lot of space for exchange and networking in the digital round.

Information
Vitamins, minerals and co. are popular and promise a lot. In the workshop, we will work together to separate myths from facts and answer the following questions, among others: What should be considered? When does it become dangerous? How do I measure nutrients correctly?
With our show-cooking in cooperation with the Techniker Krankenkasse you could not "eat wisdom with spoons", but you will be well prepared for your everyday life. What you can expect:
- Tips from nutrition experts
- Front cooking*
- joint dinner
*In the selection of food we try to take into account allergies and intolerances. Please understand that not every dietary habit can be taken into account.
Students from the University of Duisburg-Essen, the Folkwang University of the Arts and the Hochschule Ruhr West of Applied Sciences are cordially invited. The workshop is free of charge.
