We're open: Catering continues under restrictions

The new Coronaschutzverordnung of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, which was published today, allows the STUDIERENDENWERK to continue operating its gastronomic facilities - but under new conditions.

As before, the STUDIERENDENWERK provides students and employees of the respective universities as well as its own employees with meals and beverages from Monday to Friday. From 02.11. onwards, however, external guests can no longer be received in both canteens.

Please note: From now on a maximum of two people can be seated at the table. As before, the rules of hygiene including obligatory guest registration still apply for on-site consumption.

Mensa to go: Students or employees who do not wish to eat in the canteen can simply order the meals to go.

Mensa, Campus Folkwang
The reopening of the canteen, Campus Folkwang, will take place as planned on Monday, November 2. It is a pure take-away offer. Food and beverages can only be consumed at a minimum distance of more than 50 meters from the facility.

Cafeterias with a pure take-away offer
In the currently three open cafeterias, the operation will be changed to a pure take-away offer from 02.11. There are no seats available in the Gelbe Cafete, the U-Café and the Cafete, Campus Mülheim. When eating and drinking, guests must keep a distance of more than 50 meters from the cafeteria.
