Childcare Campino, Campus Duisburg

In our Campino childcare centre on the Duisburg campus skilled childcare professionals look after 50 children aged from 4 months up to school age.

Educational concept

The institution works within the framework of holistic education. That the child is seen in its entirety as a unit with its different developmental areas.

The task is to support and strengthen these areas and thereby give the child the opportunity for further development. A multitude of offers are linked together to meet the needs of the child in all areas of development. Emotions, imagination and creativity, language, motor skills, intelligence, thinking, interest, social interactions and life practice should be addressed in each action for the children.

In addition to the individual support, education and upbringing of your child, the childcare centre Campino has a pedagogical focus with the topic "Little Artists".

Since the kindergarten year 2015/2016, Campino is a family center, which networks the offers of the district in order to support and strengthen the parenting skills of the parents.

Costs

The parental contribution is based on the income of the parents and is levied by the local youth welfare office in accordance with the KiBiZ (Children's Education Act).

Location

The childcare center is located in close proximity to the University of Duisburg-Essen, directly opposite the campus. The childcare institution consists of three houses, which are connected to each other. It is located in a protected area next to the church and in a residential area next to the forest near the Kaiserberg.

The registration / application for the childcare institution Campino is made via the online portal Kita-Place. As there is no filtering for students in the application form, we kindly ask you to contact us directly in case of a registration and / or to indicate in the application form under "Other information" that you are a student.
